Great location, a few steps to Duomo. Some rooms face the spectacular sight of Duomo. Ponte Vecchio and other attractions are all very close and easily walkable. The hotel is great. It's comfortable and clean, also very reasonably priced. We occupied 2 rooms, double and single for our son. The single was very small, however, clean and perfectly adequate. Hopefully in a place such as beautiful Florence - little time to be spent in room due to the sightseeing. Breakfast is simple again, perfectly fine. The hotel could do with a good lick of paint and the dark traditional woods add to a old fashioned look. It's not the most beautiful hotel by far but we found v comfy beds and clean everywhere. Coupled with location and price, it's a good place to stay.

I had an amazing stay at Hotel De Lanzi in Florence! The location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of the city with easy access to all the major attractions. Whether it’s the Duomo, Uffizi Gallery, or Ponte Vecchio, everything is just a short walk away. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable stay. The rooms were cozy and well-maintained, making it a great place to unwind after a day of exploring. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Florence!

The location is very good for access to central Florence Just a block rom the main piazza in front of the Duomo and Bell Tower. There are many restaurants and cafes near. Best is that the street is available for taxi access - so easy drop off/pick up from train stations & airport. I booked a single room - and it was (as expected) small, but the air worked and had all the basic needs. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful (were able to provide my room a bit earlier that quoted).

Ambrosia

The location is fantastic, only a few steps away from the "Duomo", close to the train station, and ideally situated for walking through the winding centuries-old Florentine streets. The options for dining and wine are too numerous to count - I found quiet, side-street trattorias with great food, less expensive, and with terrific wines by the glass as opposed to the noisier and crowded restaurants located where being seen is more important than enjoying a fabulous dining experience.

Fabulous location 30 seconds from Duomo. Walking distance to everywhere! Don't be put off by the slightly shabby entrance at street level, the reception is on 1st floor and is manned 24 hours. Staff all lovely, smiling & helpful. Room was smallish (bed was huge!) but ideal for me on my own. Nicely furnished and shower room was well appointed. Breakfast was plentiful and from 7:30-10 am so plenty of scope for both early starts & lie-ins! Happy to recommend this hotel.
